Give by electronic transfer

A gift transferred immediately from you to benefit the University of Auckland, often is the most convenient and easiest form of giving.

Please ensure that you use the particulars, reference, code to include:

  • The fund or project that you would like to donate to.
  • Your university ID number. This was also your student ID number and just helps us identify you. If you don’t have this to hand, please include an additional way to identify you.

Give by cheque

We have been notified that our bank, BNZ, have set a date to phase out cheques by July 2021. From this date we will no longer be able to bank any cheques from donors.  We will be accepting cheques up until this date and details on making a donation via cheque are detailed below.

Banks including Kiwibank and BNZ are working to ensure that everybody who uses cheques has an alternative way to access banking services.

A receipt will be issued, usually within a week of receiving payment.

In the case of medical gifts, cheques should be made out to "The School of Medicine Foundation" and mailed to the above address.
