Performance issues with WiFi and some applications

Connect Digital Services is aware that some staff and students are experiencing difficulties with slow Wifi, and applications such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Office 365, and webpages.

The cause of this performance issue is that more devices are connecting to our network than usual, with an average of over three devices per person.

Our networking services team is working to address these problems for the short term, with an upgrade of our network infrastructure planned for the next few months, which should resolve any further issues.
