Social Media Content Creators
We are looking for current students to share the University of Auckland experience across our social channels.
Become part of the team!
We are currently recruiting for students to create videos for the University's Instagram and TikTok, so now is your chance to get involved!
About the role
As part of our team of Social Media Content Creators, you will create short videos for the University's official TikTok and Instagram channels.
These can include videos about your experience as a UoA student, living in Auckland, any clubs you're part of, study hacks or your favourite study spaces. We encourage you to be creative and think about what you would like to watch as a current student or would have found helpful as a future student!
Experience: No prior professional experience is required but you should have your own TikTok and/or Instagram and be very familiar with creating TikToks and Reels. As part of your application, we will ask you to share your public social profiles with us and submit a sample video.
This is a paid role and all Social Media Content Creators are employed as professional casual staff by the University Marketing and Campus Life teams, reporting to the University's Senior Social Media Advisor.
To be eligible to apply, students must currently be enrolled at the University of Auckland and have the right to work in New Zealand.
Payment is $27.83 per video posted on UoA social media channels. Opportunities for larger projects with higher compensation may become available throughout the year.
Time commitment: flexible, around 4-5 hours per month

About the UoA TikTok and Instagram
The UoA TikTok has been created as a place for future students to learn from current students what life is like at the University and as a student in Auckland. Our goal is to showcase the University of Auckland and Auckland City as a vibrant and diverse place that offers not only great academic opportunities but also great opportunities to connect and grow socially.
The UoA Instagram is more targeted towards our current students and where we share what's happening on and around campus, upcoming events, important updates and giveaways.
