Keep Calm, Keep Safe, Take Action

Your personal safety is paramount, do not put yourself at risk

When you come across behaviour that's suspicious or unauthorised, you should take the following action.
  • Alert Security: Use the UoA Alert app or call 0800 373 7550
  • State “suspicious activity”, giving them your exact location. Do not hang up until they say they have all the information they need
  • If you feel threatened, move away from the scene and call the Police (111)
  • If appropriate, alert other staff and students in the area
  • If safe, observe the situation and take photos or video if safe to do so
  • Report to Security staff when they arrive on the scene
