What is Alumni Connect?
Alumni Connect is an online informal mentoring tool. It connects University of Auckland students seeking career advice, with alumni (graduates) who are willing to share their experience and expertise.
How does it work?
Students and alumni set up their user profiles, with the option to import information from LinkedIn to speed things up.
Students will then browse profiles of potential alumni mentors, find someone they're interested in connecting with, and reach out.
Alumni set their availability to match their own schedules, and can accept or decline requests.
Students and alumni then connect via video call, phone call, in person, or just via email.
Who can use Alumni Connect?
Currently, all University of Auckland students, alumni and staff can use Alumni Connect.
How do I sign up?
Use the large ‘join now’ button below. You’ll need a University ID to log in.
