Introducing your Volunteer Alumni Coordinator
Kshitij Garg
Qualification: Master of International Business
Current Role: Founder & Education Mobility Strategist, Estero Education Services
What stands out most from Kshitij Garg’s time at the University of Auckland is a sense of possibility.
Arriving from India, he was immersed in a new academic and cultural environment where ideas and ambitions quickly expanded. A defining moment came when he was selected by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise for an internship in Christchurch. That experience connected classroom learning with real-world application and shaped his understanding of international trade and global collaboration.
Today, Kshitij is based in Delhi, India, where he returned after graduating in 2011 with a clear goal to strengthen education links between India and New Zealand. He is now Founder and Education Mobility Strategist at Estero Education Services, working with institutions and students to build meaningful international partnerships.
His work spans strategy, collaboration, and mentorship, with a continued focus on creating pathways for students to access global opportunities. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, meeting new people, and travelling.
As a Volunteer Alumni Coordinator, Kshitij is passionate about building a strong alumni community in India. He encourages fellow University of Auckland graduates to reconnect, attend events, and get involved. Whether through networking, mentoring, or collaboration, staying engaged helps strengthen connections and create opportunities for others.
