Soundtrack to your studies - 2014

Campus sounds from the 2010s.

The main orientation concert took place in Shed 10 by the waterfront. The headliners were Shapeshifter and Electric Wire Hustle. Here is some footage of the event - can you spot yourself in the crowd?

The previous years had seen Shapeshifter reach new heights with their single ‘In Colour’ providing their highest place on the singles chart (No.1) and their album Delta reaching No.1.

In 2014, Eminem took the National Party to court because one of their campaign ads used music that sounded suspiciously similar to his hit ‘Lose Yourself.’ The high court awarded him $600,000 in damages.

This was also the year that Savage created his worldwide smash ‘Freaks’ by working with Australia DJ Timmy Trumpet.
