Travel Relocation Grant

27 October 2021

Our University and faculty understand that COVID-19 has imposed travel restrictions that may prevent many international students from pursuing their study with us in person in Semester Two 2022. To ensure that you don't fall behind, we are providing online courses that can be completed via distance learning.

We are also offering $1,500 Travel Relocation grants for students who successfully complete one of the following courses in Semester Two 2022, and accept conditions stated in the travel grant acceptance form. Please note this offer is not available to 120pt Master of Engineering students (Research), PGCert Engineering or doctoral students.

These courses are fully online — including all lectures, tutorials and assignment submissions — and will commence on 18 July 2022:

CIVIL 703 Project Management (15 points)
ENGGEN 730 Management Skills for Project Professionals (15 points)
ENGGEN 769 Research Methods for Engineers (15 points)
ENGGEN 722 Special Study in Engineering Management (15 points)

The Standard International Fee for all four courses can be found here. You'll gain access to our University's online learning facilities, student development workshops, and careers development and employability services and seminars.

In order to take up this offer, eligible students will need to complete the FoE travel grant acceptance form and send this to studentinfo@auckland.ac.nz by 27 June 2022.
