Case Awards Application - For All Our Futures

This welcome screen greeted our guests as they arrived for the celebration.

We showed the impact of the Campaign and thanked donors by featuring student and researcher recipients of funding  on a 13mx4m wall throughout the pre-dinner drinks.

This text was read out by our Campaign chairperson Geoff Ricketts while the images appeared on screen.

“Everyone is here tonight because they support the vision behind this great Campaign. Each of you is a personal and powerful catalyst of hope and change.

At the heart of the Campaign was a single ambitious vision  – to create a better world.

Gathered here tonight, are more than 600 guests  who joined us in support of that vision.

You represent the more than 7,000 donors who contributed to the Campaign. Those donors gave an impressive 23,592 gifts.

And what did those 23-and-a-half-thousand gifts amount to?  Did we reach our Campaign target of 300 million?

Ladies and Gentlemen, the total amount raised by our donors  to support The University Campaign For All Our Futures is… a staggering three hundred and eighty million,  two hundred and seventy-one thousand dollars!”

After the Campaign total was revealed, 100 Campaign impacts were displayed on the seven screens while guests enjoyed dessert.
