PM Jacinda Ardern talks climate change with Netherlands PM

The prime ministers of New Zealand and the Netherlands discussed transitioning to a carbon neutral economy at a special event at the University of Auckland.

New Zealand Prime Minister the Right Honourable Jacinda Ardern, and the Netherlands Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, participated in an interactive session on climate change at the University Fale on Tuesday 8 October.

They discussed how to ensure a just transition to a carbon-neutral economy. Both leaders shared their ideas, followed by a panel discussion led by University of Auckland's Jennifer Curtin, Professor of Politics and International Relations.

The session was organised by the Embassy of the Netherlands and attended by University students and staff.
