Marketing students get hands-on with HubSpot

Marketing students at the Business School are getting skills-based and industry relevant learning thanks to a recent partnership between the Marketing Department and HubSpot Academy.
MKTG 304 (Digital Marketing) students gain hands-on and practical experience with HubSpot, one of the leading inbound marketing software tools: from buyer persona design to social media posts and call-to-actions.
Students also have the opportunity to complete one of several industry-recognised certifications.
The integration of industry tools and platforms and tasks is a big part of the course. It is critical to not just draft or rehearse projects as a student, but to test, examine and run projects. This way, we can be sure we are preparing our students for successful careers.
The Digital Marketing course has been carefully designed to give students real-world and practical skills and knowledge. Students also have the opportunity to gain experience and industry exposure and networks through internships offered by the department’s industry partners. Digital marketing agencies have shown a strong interest in students who are taking the course, offering internships and positive feedback.
