Bookings
- Console controllers bookings can be made by emailing esports@auckland.ac.nz
- PC bookings can be made directly online
- To book the entire Arena for an event, head to the Sport and Rec portal
About Esports
Gaming has become a vital part of the tech industry and is playing an important part in the sector becoming successful in New Zealand. University of Auckland, Waipapa Taumata Rau currently has the largest gaming arena at a tertiary institution in the country and enables gamers to compete both locally and on the world stage.
We are an active partner of New Zealand Esports Federation (NZESF). You can express any Esports related concerns or complaints directly to NZESF.
Esports Club
The Esports Club are very active users of the Esports Arena. They typically host around 10 events per semester in the space. You can connect with them via Engage or Discord.
