The University’s Standard Competition Terms and Conditions together with the competition details outlined below, form the Terms and Conditions specific for this Competition. If there are any inconsistencies between the two, then the below competition details will override.
Find the Budgie giveaway
| Competition name: | Budgie Eats: Broadcast Channel Treasure Hunt |
| Competition Dates: | The competition will run during the weeks commencing Monday, 12 October 2026 and Monday, 19 October 2026. Clues will be posted on the @universityofauckland Broadcast Channel on selected days only, not every day during the competition period. |
| Entry Instructions: | Follow the clues posted on the @universityofauckland Broadcast Channel to find a hidden Budgie key ring on campus. Take the Budgie key ring to Campus Store to claim your Budgie Eats voucher. |
| Maximum entries per person: | One voucher per person, while supplies last. |
| Entry Criteria | Entry is open to current University of Auckland students only. The competition is not open to University of Auckland staff or members of the general public. Participants must find a Budgie key ring and present it at Campus Store to claim their prize. Participants may be required to show their University of Auckland student ID to confirm eligibility. |
| Prize Draw or Determination Date: | Winners will be determined when eligible participants find a Budgie key ring and claim their prize at Campus Store. |
| Judging Criteria: | This is a treasure hunt. Prizes will be awarded to eligible participants who find a hidden Budgie key ring by following the clues posted on the @universityofauckland Broadcast Channel. No judging of responses or activities will take place. |

Ten Budgie Eats vouchers are available to be won. The total approximate retail value of the prizes is a maximum of $100. Max $10 per voucher. |
