What's On Terms and Conditions


The University of Auckland What's On Semester Two Competition (the “Competition”) begins on Monday 10 July 2017 and finishes at 5pm Friday 11 August 2017, New Zealand time.


The winner will receive:

  • A UE Boom 2 wireless speaker

Who may enter

Only current enrolled students of The University of Auckland who are not already signed up to the What's On events email list are eligible to enter. Members of the Campus Life department and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the Competition.

How to enter

For your entry to be valid you must register using your username and password on this link by 5pm, Friday 11 August 2017.

(The above to be collectively called the “Entry”.)

By submitting an Entry you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and authorise the University to send to your email address a What's On events newsletter containing information about upcoming events on campus.

The University of Auckland reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition, the Competition Notice or these Rules at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted either within the Competition Notice or these Rules.

Number of entries

You may submit only one (1) entry. Any entrant exceeding the maximum number of entries will be disqualified from the competition.


The winner will be randomly drawn from all valid Entries.

Limitation of liability

By entering this competition you agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the University of Auckland, and employees from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of your participation in this Competition and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of the prize awarded.


The winner will be drawn and notified via email after Monday 3 April 2017.


The University of Auckland collects, stores, uses and discloses your personal information in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Act 1993. Your personal details provided in the Entry will be used to provide you with information about upcoming events at the University of Auckland.
