Faculty of Arts

Staff and students wishing to breastfeed can use Room 503a Building 207 (Arts 2). The entry is adjacent to the Women’s toilets beside the Pat Hanan room. Contact Jenny Long Faculty Administrator Bldg 215, Room G01, Ext 82950, to discuss access requirements and obtain the key. Alternatively contact Sharon Tillotson, Faculty Reception ext 82493

Faculty of Law

Hours: 8am – 4pm (Mon – Fri)

Features a private space for breast or bottle-feeding and for nappy changes including a cot, change table, nappy disposal unit, microwave, refrigerator and kitchenette.
Designed to be a quiet space for parents to be with their young child(ren).

The key can be obtained from Room 310 or Room 305, Level 3, Bldg. 801.

Faculty of Engineering

Open to students and staff
Facilities include a lockable door, two comfortable chairs with privacy screen, microwave, hand basin, change table, and power points. Toilets are next door.

Epsom Campus

Faculty of Education and Social Work

Room H404 is available for feeding of babies and changing of nappies and any other parenting activities. If it is locked please ask in reception for the key.

Grafton Campus

Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences

Open to students and staff.

For occasional use, a key can be obtained from Faculty security at Grafton main reception, Building 505, Ground Floor. For frequent use, please contact Faculty Administration to discuss access requirements and to obtain a key.

Facilities include a lockable door, LazyBoy chair, fold-down change table, table and chair, storage cupboard, fridge, sink, power points, rubbish bin, magazines, washing/cleaning materials, microwave and paper towels.

The key for the room is available from the School of Population Health reception (Level 2, Building 730) or Campus Information (Level 3, Room 333, Building 723). A small portable fridge (mini-fridge) for storing milk can be borrowed from Campus Information and installed in the mother’s workspace/office where there is a power point.
