Nectar BinderHub

Turn a public code repository into an interactive, reproducible computational environment.

Researchers can use the Nectar BinderHub service to package up a remote Git repository and turn it into an interactive Jupyter notebook for displaying code and output. BinderHub uses Docker to reproduce a Jupyter environment based on a dependency file which lists the packages (and their versions) used in the original analysis. The environment comes with a reusable link you can share with others, who can then interact with your notebook.

Your data, code, and computational environment files need to be in a version-controlled remote repository, such as GitHub or GitLab.

For more information, and to see current virtual hardware allocations and timeframes, see Nectar BinderHub Service.

The Nectar Research Cloud BinderHub service, and data uploaded to it, is hosted in Australia.
