Fees charge for extensions of time for research components
If you’ve applied for an extension, you will be charged additional fees for the additional semesters you take to complete your programme.
Masters thesis and research portfolios
- Extensions will be charged at a rate of 5-points per month*
Dissertations, research projects, research essays and other research courses
- Extensions will be charged at a rate of 5-points per month*
Postgraduate diplomas/certificates
- Tuition fees will be based on the individual courses you enrol into during the extension period
*For example, if you request a one-month extension that starts 14 July, your extension will end on 13 August.

The course listing will be like your dissertation or thesis code, e.g., 790X or 796X.
