Our Career Expos attract thousands of students each year – and they’re your chance to scale up your student engagement, meeting prospective future employees from a diverse range of disciplines and backgrounds.
Don’t miss out on the best opportunity to pre-screen potential future talent and ensure our students are talking about your brand. Register now following the links below.
|Tuesday 7 March||Business and Law Career Expo (for employers or industry organisations with opportunities in Business & Commerce and/or Law)
|Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 March
||STEM Career Expo (for employers or industry organisations with opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths)
|Tuesday 25 July||Internship and Graduate Career Expo (all sector/faculty)
|Monday 11 September||Health and Wellness Careers (for employers with opportunities in non-clinical roles in the health and wellness sector)|
|Wednesday 4 October||Summer Work Pop-up (for employers with non-vocational/‘summer job’ opportunities eg: part-time/retail/hospitality/seasonal work)|
If you’re unable to attend our Career Expos in person, you can join us for our virtual alternative* that will give you an active presence at the expo and face-time with eager University of Auckland students.
*Virtual booths are only available for our Business and Law, STEM, and Internship and Graduate Career Expos. Please note that virtual spaces are limited, and we will offer these on a first-come first-served basis.
The mix of a physical booth in the venue with all the other employers and the virtual rep was a stroke of genius. We have attended lots of virtual fairs where it’s just over Zoom or similar platform and you just don't get the buy in from students.
To help facilitate your virtual presence, you’ll receive some additional equipment included in your registration, as well as a CDES representative at your booth (if you are unable to provide your own NZ-based representative) to engage directly with students.

Why your organisation should attend
There are heaps of reasons why you should attend our expos, but here’s our top five:
- Stand out as an employer of choice – connect with top talent and put your company front of mind for the students you want to hire
- Build brand awareness – connect with students from a range of disciplines, showcase what your organisation has to offer and what you stand for
- Build a talent pipeline – engage with students from all levels to nurture talent for your internship and graduate opportunities
- Shape better applicants – share information about your recruitment process and how students can stand out
- Support students on their career development journey – offer advice to help them make informed career decisions
