Career and employability events for Māori and Pacific students.

Meet the Big 4

The Māori and Pacific CDES team, Business School, and AUPISA are excited to be hosting the Big 4 in 2024!

We are hosting Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC twice in March for 2 different events.

Kōrero with the Big 4

Date: Tuesday 12 March 2024
Time: 3-4.30pm
Location: C-Space (Level 4, Student Union Building)

Register to be a part of this informative kōrero/talanoa with Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC.

Our first event is an informative kōrero/talanoa with graduates from Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC. You will meet some of our very own Māori and Pacific grads who will share their own career journeys in the corporate world so far. Find out about the current status of the world of work and what this means for you as a future graduate or intern.

At the event you will:

  • Learn how to get 'recruitment ready' for internship and graduate roles
  • Have an opportunity to meet Māori and Pacific grads & staff from the Big 4
  • Gain knowledge of how you can weave your cultural identity into the recruitment process
  • Learn about different organisations and their recruitment dates and application processes

This event is for Māori and Pacific students at all levels, across all faculties.

Ask a Big 4 recruiter

Date: Friday 15 March 2024
Time: 12–2pm
Location: Case Room 1, 260-005, 12 Grafton Road, Auckland
Register now.

Our second event is an ‘Ask the recruiter’ hui, for you get tips straight from the recruiters themselves. While we're in 'March madness' season with recruiters often seeing thousands of applications, come talk to them directly for tips and advice regarding your application. Make the most of this rare opportunity for MPI students to get the help and support by the people directly viewing your CV and application forms! Food and drinks will be provided.
