Taught postgraduate entry requirements

You must have completed an undergraduate degree from the University of Auckland or a recognised university (or similar), with good academic grades. Some programmes may consider previous work experience.

Taught programmes include graduate diplomas, postgraduate diplomas, bachelors (honours) degrees, and taught masters degrees. Masters degrees are usually either one year (120 points), 18 months (180 points), or two years (240 points), of full-time study. Some programme eligibility depends on prior study completed. A Taught Masters is usually comprised of taught courses, but may include a dissertation or research project of less than 90 points.

Creative programmes such as architecture, fine arts, music, urban design, and writing require supplementary evidence of creative ability (eg, a portfolio or audition).
