Originally from Ningbo, China, Jessica chose to study at the University of Auckland because of the high quality of its teaching and learning and its global reputation.
As a postgraduate student, she says she appreciated the lecturers' respect for the students' work and ideas, and their professional dedication to education.
"Studying at the University of Auckland has not only equipped me with a broad range of new knowledge and methodologies. It aso taught me transferrable skills such as critical thinking, entrepreneurial thinking, innovative thinking and creative thinking," Jessica says.
During her time at university, Jessica made a lot of friends from her cohort and considers the times she would spend with them outside of study as her most unforgettable memories. As an alum, Jessica still keeps in touch with her friends to share their personal milestones and celebrate their successes.
Jessica is currently the Founder and Chair of a digital marketing agency supporting businesses globally to better understand, engage and market their products and services in China. She is responsible for growing and exploring new avenues of business and spearheading the company’s future.
