US Financial Aid overview

The University of Auckland has had to withdraw from the United States (US) Title IV Federal Student Aid (FSA) programs.

This means that we are unable to approve loans for attendance at the University or to defer the repayment of loans previously borrowed under the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan program, except as listed:

  • The University may continue to award and disburse Direct Loans and process loan deferments for the 2023-2023 academic year and 2023-2024 academic years as long you remain enrolled in your program of study continuously
  • If your enrolment is not continuous you will lose eligible for FSA support

Please note, the US Financial Aid Award year runs from 1 July to 30 June each year
