Brian Boyd First in Family Scholarship
A Scholarship of up to $8,000 pa for up to four years for a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident who is the first in their family to attend university, and who is enrolling in the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Auckland.

The Scholarship recognises both his long association with the University of Auckland and his having been the first in his family to finish high school and continue studying. It will assist students who are the first member of their immediate family to attend university and who, because of financial hardship, may not otherwise be able to undertake a university degree.
