Programme overview

This 60-point programme will provide you with an understanding and knowledge of information governance concepts. You will acquire a platform of professional skills that will equip you to enter roles related to privacy and information governance within organisations.

The PGCertInfoGov will be available to new graduates as well as working professionals interested in gaining a short qualification. It will equip new graduates for entry level career or junior management roles in information governance and/or privacy.

The programme will be offered online through Auckland Online. You will be immersed in a rich, flexible and interactive learning environment that is designed to help you to learn and to develop professional skills in information governance.

This programme can lead to a master’s degree.

Entry requirements

Taught - 60 points

You must have completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university (or similar institution). You must have achieved a GPA/GPE of 5.0 or higher in at least 90 points of the most advanced courses you have taken.

This programme is available for part-time study and is open to domestic students only.
