Overview

The Diploma in Paediatrics is aimed at medical practitioners who are registered and working in New Zealand. It requires applicants to have six months paediatric training before the end of the calendar year. Please note that no more than three of the six months can be in neonatal paediatrics, paediatric ENT, paediatric surgery, paediatric orthopaedics or paediatric neurosurgery. Diploma candidates undergo a programme of practical training and formal education over a period of 12 months.
