Whakamana Tangata, Student Services Roadmap 2026–2030 sets a shared direction for enhancing the student experience at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
Developed through engagement with tauira and kaimahi, Whakamana Tangata, Student Services Roadmap guides how faculties, student services and professional teams work to support students to succeed, belong and thrive.
The roadmap is grounded in the protection and enhancement of the dignity and mana of every student. It expresses how the values and intent of Taumata Teitei are realised in our everyday actions and decisions, and reflects the University’s commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, ensuring the services that support tauira are informed by their voices and designed to meet their needs.
The roadmap focuses on five key outcomes:
- Helping students feel at home
- Fostering belonging and inclusion
- Creating seamless experiences across the University
- Supporting future success
- Empowering staff to support diverse student communities.
Together, these outcomes will shape student support and services over the next five years.
