Calling all researchers, research students, support staff, research communicators, GLAMers, volunpeers and citizen scientists. Register for Research Bazaar Aotearoa 2025 to develop the skills and methods that are fundamental to successful research.

Choose from more than 40 free, online, digital research skills workshops covering everything from AI tools, Māori Data Sovereignty, and Python to Open Access, Publishing, and Wikipedia.

  • Free, online, digital research skills workshops covering a broad range of topics.
  • A mix of short ‘taster’ and follow-along sessions.
  • Open to everyone in the Aotearoa research community.
  • Most workshops are not recorded so join on the day.
  • Workshops are delivered by academic and professional university staff, postgraduate students, and volunteers who want to share their skills.

Research Bazaar Aotearoa is a collaboration between the University of Auckland, Victoria University of Wellington, University of Otago, Plant & Food Research, University of Waikato, and the MBIE Beyond Prediction: Explanatory and Transparent Data Science Programme.
