Globus
The Centre for eResearch supports Globus for high-speed data transfer.
File or data transfer occurs between Globus endpoints.
Globus can be used to transfer files between:
- University Research Drives
- A University Research Drive and the REANNZ High Performance Computing platform.
- A University Research Drive and other NZ research institutions with established Globus endpoints
Use of this service will require at least one Research Drive. Transfer involving REANNZ requires an active REANNZ account.
CeR can also offer consultations to researchers who need assistance with transferring data within the University and between the University and external sites or repositories, often working with Digital Services' Business Relationship Managers to provide solutions.
