The centre offers a diverse range of technologies, from basic to advanced instruments such as electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, and x-ray crystallography.

Instruments and services available:
- Electron microscopy: Imaging: TEM, STEM, Cryo-EM, Tomography Analytical: EDS, EELS, MicroED
- Light microscopy: High content imaging, multi-spectral scanning, spinning disc confocal, laser microdissection, fluorescence, bright field
- Histology: Paraffin and frozen sections and staining
- X-ray crystallography: Structural characterisation of proteins
- Data analysis software: Packages for all techniques
