The Research Integrity Officer, Dr Elizabeth Visser, promotes attitudes and behaviours that encourage trust and confidence in research.

The main focus of the Research Integrity Officer role is to promote responsible conduct of research to staff and students involved in research and to support researchers by providing guidance about specific aspects of research. This includes, for example, decisions about authorship and good publication practices, avoiding questionable research practices, provide training and training resources and dealing with specific research dilemmas. It is also part of the role to evaluate any information of concern about research conduct against the criteria for good research practice under the University's policies, and contribute to further investigations where applicable.
