Programme data

Tracking the performance of your programme will help you to identify areas for improvement.  The Planning & Information Office provides curated strategic information about many areas of business through the Enterprise Insights Portal (EIP).  Information on accessing EIP is available on the staff intranet.

Setting programme objectives

Being clear what you are aiming for with the programme and how this can be measured will help you identify what to prioritise.  It provides you with a focus on what should be done in the coming year.

Decision-making framework

The Decision-making Framework is a tool that will be available in 2022.  It details academic decision-making across the phases of the student journey and clearly shows decision-making rights at faculty/LSRI/Service Division, University and external body level.

Academic leadership

The landscape of academic leadership is not the same in every faculty. There are some roles that have been defined across the University, but other academic leaders will also exist based on faculty or programme needs.

For those roles common across all faculties, detailed role definitions are available on the staff intranet to clarify responsibilities at each level of academic leadership.
