The PhD Statute came into effect on 1 October 2020. Candidates may indicate that they wish to transfer to the new Statute using the PhD Statute Consent Form in the grey box below.

The new Statute has a range of benefits for candidates, including access to Wahapū. Wahapū is the University's new system for digital candidature management. It is only available to candidates on the new PhD Statute.

Once you have submitted this form, we will process your application and notify you via email once you have been moved to the new PhD Statute in the coming months.
