Internal credit

Internal cross-credit is credit awarded towards the requirements of a University of Auckland undergraduate degree for courses passed here under a different undergraduate degree.

All cross-credits must be discussed with, and approved by, your faculty before it can be applied to your record. Cross-credits are only available for undergraduate diplomas, bachelors degrees or specified undergraduate certificates.

The total cross-credits must not exceed a maximum of one-third of the requirements of the smaller of the two programmes. You can view the credit regulations and the general regulations for your degree course in the University Calendar.

Internal cross-credit can be applied for by filling out an AS-22 Application for Internal Credit of University of Auckland Courses form.

You can get advice about cross-credit, and hand in the form at your nearest Student Hub.
