What is Microsoft 365 Apps?
Microsoft 365 Apps is essentially the always-up-to-date full version of the Microsoft Office suite and it's applications. You install it locally so it's available whenever you need it, the same way as you use any other application. It will automatically keep itself updated with new features and security updates.
Microsoft 365 Apps used to be called Office 365 ProPlus.
What does Microsoft 365 Apps include?
The following applications are included and available for you to install on Windows and macOS:
- Access (Windows only)
- Excel
- OneNote
- Outlook
- PowerPoint
- Publisher (Windows only)
- Skype for Business
- Teams
- Word
How much does it cost?
It's free to you. While you are enrolled or employed at the University you can legally install the Microsoft 365 Apps suite on up to 5 devices without paying anything.
