Doctoral Futures

Join Career Development and Employability Services (CDES) and the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) for a one-day career education event for doctoral candidates.

Doctoral Futures is all about sharing the wide range of career options and paths available to you as doctoral candidates, so you can make informed decisions about your career direction and next steps.

The event will feature a keynote speech, a presentation, two panel sessions, and a series of short speeches. We have invited people who have undertaken doctoral studies and are now in a variety of different careers to share their stories with you. We will address careers in academia and outside of it, as well as entrepreneurial careers that doctoral candidates have gone into.
