Auckland Pride Month
Tāmaki Makaurau's Pride Festival, which runs throughout February, empowers and celebrates our Takatāpui and Rainbow communities through events, creativity, and advocacy. The University are attending the following two events, and hosting a Rainbow Orientation session during week one.

Rainbow Orientation
Rainbow Orientation is held to support new Tākatapui, MVPFAFF+ and Rainbow students at the University to understand how to access support services and community groups.
The session will be run by our Rainbow Support Adviser, Mae. It will offer information on the legal name change fund, how to connect with queer communities and free kai.

Rainbow drop-in sessions
We’ve created a casual drop‑in space where Rainbow students can hang out and chat with our Rainbow Support Adviser, Mae. Whether you’ve got a question, need a bit of support, or just feel like saying hi, we can't wait to connect.
Mae can help with:
- Finding your Rainbow community
- Legal name change fund
- Transitioning support
- Pronoun stickers
- Navigating your identity
