Postgraduate study in Classical

What can you study at a postgraduate level?

At honours level, you have an opportunity to steer your career towards the main interest of your life as a musician, be it as a performer, studio teacher, ensemble director or educator. Your understanding of the creative practice component of a musician’s life will be enriched by exploration of academic topics in a range of areas.

The Master of Music degree takes this approach to a higher level, where you'll be able to study performance. Your research will culminate in the submission and presentation of a portfolio consisting of practical and written work. You will be guided towards independent research and study capability by one or a team of supervisors.
