What can you study in Health Leadership?

Health Leadership is studied in the Master of Health Leadership programme.

The Master of Health Leadership is designed to be taken over three semesters (18 months) full-time or 36 months part-time.

The courses in this programme impart the knowledge and skills needed for leading multi-professional teams, managing health services and leading change in order to improve health quality and outcomes.

You will develop an understanding of the social, cultural, political and economic issues that influence health services and health policy. You will gain experience in applying theoretical concepts to practical problems. You will also critically analyse the way in which health services are funded and organised.

Graduates of Health Leadership will have advanced skills and knowledge, in both theory and practice, in areas of study related to health leadership and management. They will be well equipped to work as research-informed practitioners in the specialised, interdisciplinary field of health leadership.
