Programme overview
The PGCertArch covers a broad spectrum of architectural knowledge, providing you with both critical insight and practical expertise.
As a graduate of this programme, you’ll be equipped with advanced analytical, critical, and creative capabilities, preparing you for leadership roles as a designer, consultant, or client liaison within architecture and related creative industries, such as media and web design.
Programme structure
The PGCertArch is a 60-point programme, which also serves as an alternative pathway for students who are unable to continue with the Master of Architecture (MArch) programme.
Students admitted into this programme must complete 60 points from:
- ARCHDRC 700–703
- ARCHGEN 703, 711–715, 733
- ARCHHTC 700–702, 704
- ARCHPRM 702–705
- ARCHTECH 707–710
- HERCONS 700–703
- URBDES 702

In order to be admitted to this postgraduate certificate, an applicant must have:
a) Completed the requirements for the Bachelor of Architectural Studies from this University with a Grade Point Average of 4.0 or higher, or have equivalent prior study
or
b) Completed the requirements for the Bachelor of Architectural Studies from this University with a Grade Point Average of 4.0 or higher in 60 points above Stage II.

Fees are set in advance of each calendar year and will be updated on this website. Fees are inclusive of 15% GST, but do not include the Student Services Fee, course books, travel and health insurance, or living costs. Amounts shown are indicative only. In addition to the tuition fees, there is a Student Services Fee of $9.44 per point, estimated at $566.40 for full-time study (60 points). Fees will be confirmed upon completion of enrolment into courses.
