What can you study in Primary Teaching?

We offer a range of different options for study in Primary Teaching at postgraduate level. All of them provide excellent teaching and access to the latest research and techniques in a faculty whose education programmes are rated the best in New Zealand, in the world's top 50 universities for Education as a subject (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2020).

The one-year Graduate Diploma prepares graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to begin working as a primary or intermediate teacher. It emphasises practical experience in school to apply theoretical learning and first-hand understanding of teaching and learning contexts.

Help and advice
