Where to find us, workshop eligibility and other essential information.


Workshops are held in Room 305, Level 3, 49 Symonds Street (Building 620), Auckland, unless otherwise specified.


All workshops are open to University of Auckland and UniServices staff.

NVivo Core Skills, SPSS Core Skills and Word Thesis Formatting workshops are open to University of Auckland postgraduate students.

Chargeable workshops are not currently available to University of Auckland postgraduate students and members of the public for the foreseeable future.

Cancellation policy

We have a Cancellation policy. No shows and late cancellations may incur a fee. See our Registration page for more information.

Workshop availability

The number of courses and workshop sessions offered is limited. Workshop capacity is also limited and registrations are procesed on a first come first served basis.

PCs and Macs are available on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to request a Mac please let us know.

Teaching style

Our experienced facilitator will lead you through the course content using a projector for demonstrations. You will have a computer and software provided to be able to complete the exercises. There will be time for questions.

Workshop notes are provided and are comprehensive so you can easily revisit the learning or complete any unfinished material in your own time.
