Sir Owen G Glenn Building carpark access and payment system replacement

Wilson Parking has delivered a new parking access and payment system for the Sir Owen G Glenn Buliding (OGGB) carpark at City Campus. License plate recognition technology has been introduced to enable a semi-automated parking experience.

Key improvements include:

• Barrier-free entry process and paperless ticketing
• Multiple payment options for casual users: both onsite pay station and pay-at-exit with bank card
• The exit barrier will automatically lift for permit holders or once payment is confirmed for casual parkersThe exit barrier will automatically lift for permit holders or once payment is confirmed for casual parkers
  

The project was endorsed by University leadership, and commenced in August 2025.

Equipment from the old system will be removed in the week commencing Monday 2 March.
