Bring your craft

 This incredibly special necklace serves as a reminder of my continued creative journey and a reflection of my Godmother. I visited her in NYC for the first time in 2023 and discovered that she, too, was a jewellery maker in her youth. She gifted me her box of beads, pendants, and silver wire, and with them, alongside my own favourite beads. I made this necklace in honour of our shared passion for jewellery making. Every time I wear it, I feel connected to her and am motivated to step into the world as confidently as she does.

55 Symonds is ideal for students who want their own space while living within walking distance of the City and Grafton Campuses, as well as K Road. 55 Symonds offers studios for individuals and couples which each come with their own kitchenette, bathroom and toilet. 

55 Symonds is open to all University students in their second year or above of study.
