Explore our Self-Catered Residences
Taste life living on campus with your uni friends
Saturday 9 August, 12–3pm
Tour our Self-Catered Residences with kai, games, giveaways and good vibes.
Whether you already live in University Accommodation or you're planning ahead, this is your chance to explore what self-catered living looks like – on your own or with your uni crew.
What’s happening:
- Guided tours of private rooms and common areas
- Grab-and-go food at every stop
- Games, activities and giveaways
- Applications advisers on hand to answer questions on Group and Self-Catered applications

- Te Tirohanga o te Tōangaroa
- Stuart McCutcheon House
- Carlaw Park Student Village
- University Hall Apartments
Visit one or all! Start where you like and move at your own pace. If you’ve already toured a property, you’re welcome to drop in for some kai and fun.
Housing options available for:
- Undergraduate students (second year and above)
- Postgraduate and PhD students
- Groups, couples and families
Thinking of flatting with your uni friends?
Group applications are available! Bring your uni mates along and see what it’s like to live together on campus.
Giveaway
Check in at any residence on the day and submit your 2026 Accommodation application by 30 September to go in the draw to win one of five $100 Woolworths vouchers. Each residence scan counts as one entry.
Open to University of Auckland students only.
Prospective students
If you are a prospective student still in secondary education, be sure to register to attend Mānawa Mai Open Day. This is how you'll get all of the information to visit faculties, connect with student services and visit our first-year catered halls.
Visit Accommodation residences on Saturday 30 August for a tour of bedrooms and common areas or to learn more about living on campus while you study. Tours available all day at Grafton Hall, O'Rorke Hall, University Hall Towers and Waipārūrū Hall.
