Try Sailing

This is a great chance to try a new skill with no experience required! Our Try Sailing sessions are aimed at those students new to sailing and also past sailors who would like to get back on the water to rediscover the fun of sailing.

Try Sailing sessions are held at the Akarana Sailing Academy (Auckland Sailing Club) at Okahu Bay, Auckland. Each session is 3 hours and sailors will be on the water and experiencing sailing first-hand during this time.

Akarana coaches are fully trained and will work with small groups of students. The aim is to learn the basic skills of sailing while having a great time with friends and developing new skills. You will be sailing on a brand new fleet of RS Quests, boats specifically set up as learn to sail and race boats and most suited to Adults.
