Research Communications

These skills are critically important, as they help you to explain complex ideas, clarify your thinking and positionality, and prepare you for conferences, no matter which career pathway you are on. One-on-one appointments with career consultants
Book an appointment with a Career Development and Employability Services (CDES) consultant directly through MyCDES to discuss any career-related issues you're facing.
Book by clicking on "Request New Appointment”. Then select “Career Appointments All Students” from the drop-down menu. Ignore all the filters, just navigate to the end of the page and click “Check Availability”. Choose the date and time that suits you best, click on the consultant's name, complete the questions, and click “Submit”.
Note: Appointments are not for CV, cover letter, or LinkedIn checking. Please use the CDES drop-in or online CV check service for this.
