Doctoral Morning Tea
Meet your peers, make connections and learn from those who have come before you in these monthly doctoral panel sessions.
The Doctoral Morning Tea (DMT) is an informal monthly seminar for doctoral candidates. Current candidates are invited to come along, hear about topics that are relevant to doctoral life and build relationships with their peers from across the University over refreshments.
Sessions may be held in-person or online, and usually include a panel of current doctoral candidates or recent graduates. Past sessions have included topics such as:
- Making the most of your doctorate
- Cross-cultural communication
- International candidate life
- Research storytelling for quick pitches
- Proactive career management
