The School of Graduate Studies is thrilled to present two workshops from Thinkwell's Hugh Kearns. Specifically crafted for doctoral candidates, these workshops will help you get to grips with tools, techniques and strategies for working more effectively - and with less stress - towards your doctorate.

The seven secrets of highly successful research students

Find out the key things you can do to help you succeed as a doctoral candidate. You'll get advice on how to deal with your supervisor, overcome writer's block, juggle multiple commitments and how to keep going when things are tough. It's the perfect workshop for those early in their candidature but all current doctoral candidates are welcome to come and take advantage of Hugh's insights.
