Māori and Pasific Drop-in Session

Date:
Thursday 9 May 2024
Time: 12-2pm
Location: Reo space (General Library Level 1)

Register now. (While we encourage you to register via link on MyCDES for attendance purposes, please note that it's a drop-in session, so feel free to join us even without registration!)

Katy and Shania from MSD’s policy team will be available to talk to Māori and Pasifika students on working in public policy.

They will be available to answer any questions you might have about working in the public sector, talk about the work of MSD and the policy unit, and the supports and networks available for Māori and Pasifika staff at MSD. They can also share their own personal stories of working the public sector, how they’ve navigated the challenges they’ve experienced as well as opportunities for creating positive change.

They are keen to hear what questions and concerns students have about working in government, including providing practical advice across the job application process.

We are currently setting up more for events for you. Please check back soon for more information as we confirm events.

In the meantime, if you need support please get in touch with our Māori and Pacific team.
