Dr Jemaima Tiatia

Tagata Pasifika talks to Dr Jemaima Tiatia, Health and Research Council Post-doctoral Fellow, Centre for Pacific Studies, as part of their series about young people and suicide in the Pacific community. Dr Tiatia's post-doctoral research is the only research of its kind in New Zealand and gives an insight as to why young Samoans, aged between 16 and 25, attempt suicide.

Dr Tiatia was invited to be interviewed to add the discussion during Tagata Pasifia's television episode on young Pacific people's suicide, and you can view that section of the programme here.
