Haere rā Kāhu

Tuesday 29 July 2025

On Friday 1 August, Waipapa Taumata Rau will be formally closing our campus app, Kāhu. While Kāhu will be leaving our community, all its great features are still available elsewhere through other apps and the University website. Here’s everything you need to know:

  • Orientation is now driven via Eloqua and the website. Check out the programme for new students.
  • UoA Alert is still the official emergency and safety app of the University of Auckland. Make sure you have downloaded it on your phone with notifications on.
  • Digital Maps is a browser-based tool that lets you view digitised maps of the University. It allows you to perform outdoor and indoor navigation between two points, rooms or buildings.
  • University Events will keep you up to date with everything happening around campus.
  • Software for students is still widely available, including Canvas, My Timetable, Panopto, Grammarly and more.
